  • Technician Confirmed Vehicles Check engine light is on, with a rough running symptom. Inspection for Stored codes found (4) Stored Trouble codes and are listed as follows. P0455 – EVAP System Fault – Large leak detected, P0300 – Random/Multiple Cylinder Misfire, P0303 – Cylinder #3 Misfire detected, and P0463 – Fuel level Sensor "A" Circuit High input. Technician Using Scan tool to monitor for Live data found Active engine misfires off Idle on Cylinder #3, Technician Swapped Ignition coil #3, with a known good Cylinder #1, finding after that Misfires remained on Cylinder #3. Technician Pulled Spark plug on Cylinders #1, and #3, finding Heavy Soot/Ash Buildup on cylinder #3 spark plug with evidence of Melting Electrode. Current installed plugs are aftermarket. Technician using Boroscope was able to See inside of cylinder #3, finding Oil Present, as well as Heavy Carbon, Oil Buildup on Intake/Exhaust valves. Technician Inspected Oil Level and condition finding it to measure low at minimum level. Technician Swapped Spark plug from #3, to Cylinder #1, finding Misfire Followed, indicating Source of Ignition Misfire is Fouled/Worn Ignition spark plug. Technicians findings suggest Vehicles Engine is Consuming oil, specifically on Cylinder #3, and Recommends Replacing all (4) Spark plugs, and performing an Oil Consumption Test (Performing Oil Change, Marking Dipstick, and returning in 500 Miles) to determine overall Health/Longevity of vehicles engine, and identifying next step for Best possible repair then.

Technician Hooked Vehicle up to Refrigerant Machine finding no Pressures Present from High or Low Side Lines. Technician Pulled Vacuum on system and charged to Spec (0.50KG), finding after service Center Vent Temps were now reading at 37F. (Ambient Temp – 72.5F.) Technician Removed upper Core support coverings and lower Splash shields Using UV Light to inspect for leaks, as well as a Refrigerant leak detector finding no Current leaks from Compressor, Fittings, hoses, or expansion valve. Technician Operated A/C System on Max A/C while Using refrigerant detector on Drain finding no Measurable amounts of refrigerant present. Technician used Soapy water on Both Low side and High Side Refrigerant ports finding no Current leaks. Technician Added UV Dye into system, recommending Customer to return at a Later date if A/C system starts Blowing warm again for Inspection of A/C System to determine source of leak if any.
